Excavated Civil War Bayonet with location and date preserved on socket. This Excavated Civil War Bayonet is solid and sturdy. I just picked this up on consignment. The collection notes read " Confederate Richmond triangle bayonet. Dug at Petersburg "P'Burg - Hatcher's Run US-1&Travel Park 4-23-81". This excavated bayonet is still very sturdy and displays great. I really like the location and even the date preserved. Check out the images.
