Merwin & Bray Plant's Manufacturing Company .42 caliber "cup primed" Revolver. Plant's Manufacturing Company of New Haven, CT. The plant was financed by Merwin & Bray. These large frames are heavy and solid. Many officers preferred these larger caliber revolvers over the Colt Pocket Revolvers. These Merwin & Bray revolvers were also made much sturdier than the Colt Revolvers. These .42 caliber front loading revolvers are very cool and an example many collections are missing. These Merwin & Bray is solid and fresh to the market. I picked this up with a really Model 1860 Cavalry Saber at the Tulsa Arms Show.
