This Model 1840 NCO Sword features a full brass hilt with a nicely aged patina and visible maker markings on the blade. Blade condition is beautiful there are no battle dents or chips. One side of the ricasso is stamped "U.S." "1862" "F.S.S." While the other side has "C. ROBY" "W. CHLEMSFORD MS". The Sword has its original scabbard in great condition.
