Bilharz, Hall & Company Confederate Carbine made in Pittsylvania County, Virginia in 1863. This Bilharz, Hall & Company Confederate Carbine was based on the US Cavalry Model 1855 Muzzleloading Carbine. This Confederate Carbine is .58 caliber and has matching "73" number on lock plate, barrel and stock. The nose cap is pewter and action is crisp. The barrel has the magic letters "CSA" and "P" proof mark. The Bilharz, Hall & Company Confederate Carbine is a scarce Confederate Firearm, and early collectors even had the maker wrong. I have sold four of these carbines and this example is the best one I have handled. The production less than 800 and how many survived we do not know. This is your opportunity to own a super scarce Confederate Firearm. It gets better .... checkout the WORLD-FAMOUS REBEL RELICS PRICE POINT. You will never find a nicer example at this money.
