This knife is solid with no play or wobble. The blade has a nice false edge. The spine is thick, and no doubt made for combat. This Antique Bowie Knife and Sheath is truly a wonderful example. The sheath has an 1861 John J. Rebel off to War feel. Notice the saddle maker or leather smith used scrap leather for the body. The belt loop is still reporting for duty.
