German Youth Knife introduced in 1933. The Hitler German Youth Knife was the first "NAZI DAGGER." The German Youth Knife was given to the boys after passing state examinations. The pommel on these knives reminds me of the Officer's Dress Bayonet. This is a later period example made without the blade motto. This example is better than most I see with expected sharpening and handling. These knives were carried daily by boys and boys will be boys. The Hitler Youth Knife was my first German WWII Relic I ever purchased as a boy myself. Checkout the images for the maker mark and date.
