Griswold Confederate Revolver with all matching serial numbers. This Griswold Confederate Revolver has its original wood grips and even the wedge matches. The grips are truly awesome and "10" penciled in the channel. The serial number "2110" is on all the major parts, as it should be. The secondary number "10" is on the wedge, wood grips, and loading lever. The cryptic number inside is "X". A Griswold Confederate Revolver serial number 2046 was excavated in a Confederate Cavalry Camp in Tunnel Hill, Ga. This Griswold Confederate Revolver was made in March or April of 1864.

Captain Kaiser of General Nathan Bedford Forrest's Scouts picked up 60 revolvers in March 1864. Griswold Revolvers in this serial number range are very popular as there is an outstanding chance to have ...... "RODE with FORREST". Let out that BIG REBEL RELICS YELL ..... !!!!!!!
