Frank J. Bitterlich Deringer Pistol

Frank J. Bitterlich Deringer Pistol with frame and barrel markings.  This Frank J. Bitterlich Deringer Pistol is super scarce.  I have never seen another example like this one for sale.  I bet many Antique Firearms Collection are missing a Frank J. Bitterlich Pistol.  He also made rifles and shotguns.  I bought a very nice Bitterlich shotgun but the seller crawfished on our done deal for a little extra money.  I have bought hundreds of civil war relics collections and maybe two had a Bitterlich Firearm.  I know many of you collect Derringers and this is a maker your missing.

This Frank J. Bitterlich Deringer Pistol has had some restoration.  The action works great and I have posted a bunch of images.  I love the frame and barrel maker marks.  They are clear and no magnification needed.  The walnut stock has some obvious wear but look at the size of that bore.  Stick your pinkie finger in that muzzle.  This Frank J. Bitterlich Deringer Pistol was meant for two legged animals or four.  My bore gauge is missing in action.  This Frank J. Bitterlich Deringer Pistol has to be close to .50 caliber.  The nickle silver hardware has classic shapes and designs.

If you collect Nashville, Tennessee Firearms this is a true treasure.  This Frank J. Bitterlich Deringer Pistol in minty condition would be $5,500.00 or more.  The Rebel Relics Price Tag is on this rare pistol.  It’s Nashville Rebel Approved with a huge Rebel Relics Yell.  Nashville fell early to the invading Big Government Army.  Frank J. Bitterlich had a contract with the Confederate Government to repair arms for the Confederacy.  The Confederate Government could not arm the Nashville Rebels.  They were told to bring their rifles, pistols, and shotguns from home.  This Frank J. Bitterlich Deringer Pistol shows lots of wear but …. we know why.  I would bet this Frank J. Bitterlich Deringer Pistol sent a Yankee back home in a box.  There are no shortage of excavated Derringer style pistols.  These little pocket pistols were there.  Don’t sleep on this Frank J. Bitterlich Deringer Pistol.  It’s a scarce example and Nashville Rebel Brian Akins Rebel Relics Approved.
