Thanks for your purchase of the CS tin Drum Canteen with cover and ticking sling.  I first purchased the canteen back in the 1980s from Carl Pugliese when I visited with him and Dr. James Garvin.
     On one side you can see where there had been a label affixed on that side.  The label had a history of being recovered from the battlefield of Seven Pines.  That label had been missing for many years.  It is a great example of a CS Tin Drum Canteen, especially with a cover and sling.  Being in an untouched state, it has a great look.  Thanks again, and best regards, Michael”.  I will include a letter stating the history and a copy of the email.
This Civil War Relics Seven Pines Confederate Canteen is a killer example.  Confederate Canteens are scarce period.  Examples with cover and sling are super scarce.  Throw in some Seven Pines history and you have another World Famous Rebel Relics Beauty.
