The brass hardware has pleasing aged patina. This Springfield Model 1855 Pistol-Carbine is a scarce and very desirable antique firearm. Only around 4000 made and this example is way better than most we see on the market. The wrist does have some hairline cracks from being fired from the shoulder with the stock.
