Confederate Cavalry Sword I believe made by K.G. & K. some say made in Atlanta. This Confederate Cavalry Sword just showed up on consignment. The consignor said the wood sheath was covered in gold paint. There is a hint of gold paint on the sword blade also. The gold paint was removed from the wood scabbard. You can still see some paint on the mounts and traces on the wood body. This Confederate Cavalry Sword has all original leather grip in salty condition. The blade is very nice and shows expected wear from honest service. This Confederate Sword displays great and could use little oil on the wood scabbard to darken it up from the cleaning. I have Rebel Relics Priced this one for unbeatable price point.
