I love how the guard was crafted to ride flat against the soldier's body. The foot long blade is over 2 1/2" inches wide. The overall length is around 17 1/2" inches. This Confederate Spear Point Bowie is fresh to the market surfacing originally in Texas. The walnut handle is still solid but does have some age-related openings. Nicely peened and never been messed with Confederate Antique Bowie Knife.
