The original leather belt shows the wear we would expect to see. Still solid and could give a good spanking today. The Southern Blacksmith Knife is really sweet. The blade is heft and nicely made. I really like this knife. The handle is solid and tight. The original leather sheath still has the belt loop. The small book comes with the set and the solider who wore this belt rig is mentioned in the book. The blade is 6 1/2" inches. Consignor said this set was bought from a family member of the solider.
