Civil War Confederate Knife with been there killed that eye appeal and condition. This Civil War Confederate Knife was blacksmith crafted as a D-Guard Bowie. He must have split some skulls with the guard and broke it. No problem for John J. Rebel file down the break and carry on. The spear point blade was crafted from a file with an awesome median ridge. I love the handle and the brass ferrule. Just an awesome Antique Bowie Knife that saw the elephant and probably field dressed him.
