Battle of Baton Rouge Confederate Sword with awesome Museum "Tag" Handwritten History. This Battle of Baton Rouge Confederate Sword was made by the College Hill Arsenal, Nashville Tennessee. This Confederate Sword could have been broken before capture. The patina and condition lead me to believe used to mark a fallen Confederate Cavalry Trooper Grave. The Battle of Baton Rouge was important victory for the Yankees. Tennessee made swords are rare as the invaders captured Nashville early 1862.
