Yes, there was plenty of Native American Warriors who fought in the Civil War. There is plenty of Confederate Bowie examples with soft metal inlay. The blade is crafted from a heavy file. The file teeth can be seen along the full tang and blade. This is a solid knife and could be proudly displayed in any Antique Knife Display.
