Ames Model 1832 Artillery Sword with maker mark, date, and inspector marks. This Ames Model 1832 Artillery Sword is solid with pretty brass patina. The blade is full length and nice. Someone in history did try some cleaning or sharpening. See picture for the blade condition. The tool marks could be sanded off but, it ain't that bad.
