Model 1840 Cavalry Saber with maker mark. This Model 1840 Cavalry Saber surfaced in the Fort Worth area missing its scabbard. The grip has that "been there done that" eye appeal. The wire is there but one strand is broken and loose. This is an easy fix if you want to repair it. I love the untouched condition of this sword.
