South Carolina Cavalry Sword with original scabbard. This South Carolina Cavalry Sword is a product of William Glaze. These made under contract for the State of South Carolina. They were issued to the State Militia. They would have been the FIRST CAVALRY SWORDS on the scene of the Northern Invasion. Glaze worked for the Ames Sword Company before starting the Palmetto Armory. Marked with "COLUMBIA S.C." on the ricasso. Wonderful example with just enough wear to have been there. All original and was the First Responder Confederate Sword of the Northern Invasion. Check out the images and enjoy.
