Samurai Sword used by Japanese Officer during World War Two. This Samurai Sword is fresh to the market. This is one of my finds from the Brim Field Flea Market. I love these fresh Veteran Bring back War Trophies. The blade is roughly 26 1/2" inches long. The tang is signed "KANEMOTO" with two holes. The hamon is in the Kanemoto style "stand of cedars" different from the later generations. This Samurai Sword was equipped with a leather foul weather covering and a Japanese Army Officer Tassel. Shows honest wear and usage .... please see pictures for condition. The blade is untouched and full length. I love the wear and the look of this sword. Yes, the handle wrap could be restored and the blade polished but, sure looks awesome the way it sits.
