Griswold Confederate Revolver serial number #1460. This Griswold Confederate Revolver has benchmark roman numerals and cryptic letter under the wood grip. This is an honest example with only the wedge and a nipple or two being added. I do love the classic "twist" this Griswold barrel and cylinder shows. This Confederate Revolver is a survivor and shows plenty of hard usage. I actually really like this example and the hard usage does not bother me at all. The price is ten thousand less than most so ....... it's a solid Confederate Revolver and priced accordingly. Could use a wedge made to fit and that would tighten the whole revolver.
