Model 1840 Ames Cavalry Sword with picture perfect condition. This Model 1840 Ames Saber is just like I love them. It shows some honest service but, survived in wonderful condition. The leather and wire wrap are original and tight. The full length has no battel boos boos. The blade is nicely dated, and maker marked. The original scabbard has two small pushes nothing bad mentioned for accuracy. Check out the images and enjoy.
