Colt 1851 Navy Revolver with all matching serial numbers. This Colt 1851 Navy Revolver no doubt saw plenty of cap busting. The frame was period gunsmith altered to "tighten" this hog leg up. I have seen several Model 1860 and 1851 examples with this done. The wedge is unnumbered and probably gunsmith made when the gunsmithing was done. I have sold a couple revolvers with LEO History and they had been done the same way. This Colt 1851 Navy Revolver has nice crisp action and mechanically sound. The original walnut grips are really nice. The barrel address is very good and some cylinder scene here and there. I have posted a bunch of images for your viewing please.

This Colt 1851 Navy Revolver was produced in 1863 and must have been a real smoke wagon skinner. Call Brian Akins with any questions 615-7727008 .....
