Antique Bowie Knife with with 'Rebel" eye appeal. This Antique Bowie Knife was an awesome clip point. Check out that turned groove wood handle. Reminds me of the brass grips on the Confederate Short Artillery Swords. The blade is crafted from a file with file blade "teeth" still visible. The butt cap and cross guard are picture perfect and check out the patina. This is a beautiful well made Antique Bowie Knife that any Rebel would have been proud to carry. The file crafted blade leads me to believe an 1861 Southern Bowie Knife for the War of Northern Aggression.
