Confederate Artillery Shell with visible case shot inside. This is a cool little shell from a collection I bought out of Mississippi. This shell has a noticeable mold seam. Most of the shells were dug at Vicksburg, Mississippi. Assuming this example was also excavated there. Displays great and just cool still having some rounds balls inside.
