Battle of Nashville Presentation General Sword with the only known "NASHVILLE" Battle Honor. This Battle of Nashville Presentation General Sword could have only belonged to a handful of Generals. I did some research and truly think I know who it was presented to and it seems obvious. That said ..... the wooden presentation box is M.I.A. and the brass plaque on the box would solve the mystery. Somewhere out there is a newspaper story or photograph that will boost this sword and Hundred Thousand Dollars, LOL. Yes, they went to Tiffany's not Jared's. This is the General Sword in their catalog and you could "pimp" yo sword from there. The buyer could add fancy pommel caps and even jewels. This straight blade General Sword has a beautiful blade with "NASHVILLE" Battle Honor. I quick google search on Battle of Nashville Generals and one stands out. His Battle Plan earned him a Congressional Award. It was also the worst defeat of the War of Northern Aggression suffered by the South. This General also stayed in Nashville after the war and lead Reconstruction and fought politically with the Klan.

If this Battle of Nashville Presentation General Sword would look awesome on your wall call Brian Akins. I love this sword and know someone out there will enjoy it being the caretaker. Hell, it ought to be in the Nashville Museum.
