Early American Antique Bowie Knife with it's original leather sheath. This Early American Antique Bowie Knife has a beautiful hefty clip point blade. This knife is PUBLISHED on page 236 of "Accouterments IV" by James Johnston. There is also an article written by former owner Bill Meyers in Texas Gun Collector Magazine. I love the patina on the antler handle and the blade peen is solid. The brass butt cap is a nice touch and adds protection to the antler. The original sheath is truly as cool as the knife. I love the tooled lines running the border. Check out the belt loops still reporting for duty. The overall length is 15 7/8" with nearly a foot long heavy clip point blade.

Please check out all the posted images. This Early American Antique Bowie Knife served someone well in survival and self defense. I wish it could talk and tell it's American Story. Call Brian Akins for service. Don't sleep on this Early American Antique Bowie Knife.
