T. L. Pruett Antique Alabama Confederate D Guard

ON HOLD

T. L. Pruett Antique Alabama Confederate D Guard with stunning Rebel Relics Civil War Relics Condition.  This T. L. Pruett Antique Alabama Confederate D Guard is the best of the best.  This T. L. Pruett Antique Alabama Confederate D Guard is the Apex of Antique Bowie Knife Collecting.  I love this T. L. Pruett Bowie Knife and the history is as cool as the D-Guard.

This T. L. Pruett Antique Alabama Confederate D Guard is one of only a few to survive.  Best estimate only around forty were ever made.  T. L. Pruett made most of these D-guards for the Autauga Guards.  That was a hometown unit that served with the 44th Mississippi.  This T. L. Pruett Antique Alabama Confederate D Guard very well could have fought near my home in Middle Tennessee.  The unit fought at Shiloh, Murfressboro, Chickamauga, Franklin, Nashville, and many more battles.

This T. L. Pruett Antique Alabama Confederate D Guard is published in the Confederate Bowie Book on page 192.  World Famous Rebel Relics is where you get the best of the best with Southern Hospitality.  I love the remarks in the book “This is the only Pruett knife in near new condition, and shows the remarkable degree to which Pruett polished his blades.”  The peen is undisturbed and tight.  The blade is truly beautiful.  There is no apologies for this T. L. Pruett Antique Alabama Confederate D Guard.

I have priced this T. L. Pruett Antique Alabama Confederate D Guard around it’s last two selling numbers.  In my opinion, this is the Iconic Confederate Bowie that all others fall short of in many ways.  The Nashville Rebel loves this T. L. Pruett Antique Alabama Confederate D Guard.  I wish it was Tennessee made with a Nashville Tennessee maker mark.  God knows it would be mine until the end.  My guess whoever The Alabama Rebel is will give me a Rebel Yell.  Until then, this T. L. Pruett Antique Alabama Confederate D Guard can Ride with The Nashville Rebel.

This T. L. Pruett Antique Alabama Confederate D Guard is published in the book on Confederate Knives.  The write up describes it as “near new” condition.  The price is fair and market value.  If your the collector that loves the BEST OF THE BEST ….. Rebel Relics Yell.
