Civil War Relics James Conning War Trophy

SOLD

Civil War Relics James Conning War Trophy Sword.  This Civil War Relics James Conning War Trophy is truly in the black.  This Civil War Relics James Conning War Trophy is a throw back Rebel Relics Instant Classic.  Very seldom do completely untouched attic fresh Rebel Relics show up anymore on the market.  I know you guys and gals have noticed the focus here lately at Rebel Relics.  I am doing my best to bring you fresh no “BS” artifacts.

This Civil War Relics James Conning War Trophy backs up what I was saying at the Richmond Civil War Relics Show to another dealer.  He ask my opinion on the future of these Civil War Relics.  I told him there is nothing new under Sun.  The current generation is not much different than the Roman Empire Generation.  Yankees were collecting these Civil War Relics before the owner was done quivering.  The Southern people back home were covering buttons with cloth and hiding revolvers in the walls.  Civil War Relics will always be desirable and I have many young customers.  Most buy from the website as they do not have the time to attend shows.

This Civil War Relics James Conning War Trophy has a letter from the family stating the history.  This Civil War Relics James Conning War Trophy was brought home and until recently stayed in the original family.  I will add details in a little while about the Yankee Soldier.

This Civil War Relics James Conning War Trophy is solid with beautiful patina.  The drag is missing from the leather scabbard.  You can see from the end of the blade it was carried long after the drag was “M.I.A.”.  The hilt has the magic letters “CS” in the floral guard.  The blade is full length with no major battle scars.  The leather scabbard is Rebel Relics Strong.  The mounts are serial numbered as is the leather scabbard.  The brass hilt and blade also have matching serial numbers.

This Civil War Relics James Conning War Trophy is about as nice an example you will ever find.  The original leather and wire grip is stunning.  The history is also tragic but war is hell.  I will add pictures of the letter confirming the rest of the story later.  This Civil War Relics James Conning War Trophy is expensive but it’s killer.  If it was Nashville History you can beat The Ole Nashville Rebel would own it.  I know there is an Alabama Reb out there that will appreciate this Civil War Relics Time Capsule of Alabama Awesome.

A signed letter from the family will accompany this Civil War Relics James Conning War Trophy.  Their family member brought this sword home after the War of Northern Aggression.  He was a member of the 95th Illinois Infantry Co. H.  His name is William Farrell.  He did not die until 1921.  This will make an awesome addition to any Civil War Relics Collection.

I am the “call me” Civil War Relics Dealer.  I enjoy the interaction and getting to know my customers.  The World Famous Rebel Relics Pricing is not just a gimmick.  Very seldom … like never do I see a better value for the same Civil War Relics anywhere else.  I also sell Japanese Shin Gunto Swords.  Many of them have the older authentic Samurai blades.  I do sell authentic Samurai Armor and related material.  Thank you for taking the time to read my little summary here.  No Civil War Relics Collection is to large.  I recently picked up the Blue Gray Museum from Decatur, Alabama on consignment.  This was the largest privately owned Civil War Museum in the world.  I have the network and resources to handle any Antique Military Collection.  Please know I value your business and your time.  If you need anything please Rebel Yell.  Tennessee Residents must pay State Sales Tax of 9.75%.
