Civil War Relics Smith & Wesson Revolver with beautiful factory engraved frame and original ivory grips.  This Civil War Relics Smith & Wesson Revolver has nice working action.  This Civil War Relics Smith & Wesson Revolver has American Civil War Relics Top Shelf Eye Appeal.  The ivory grips have an untouched patina.  The factory engraving is gorgeous and this Civil War Relics Smith & Wesson Revolver just looks cool.  Another quick update before I leave for the Denver Gun Show tonight.

The Smith & Wesson No. 2 Old Model Revolver also known as the Model #2 Army was manufactured from 1861-1874.  The total The Smith & Wesson No. 2 Old Model Revolver also known as the Model #2 Army was manufactured from 1861-1874.  The total production was little over 77,000.  These revolvers have rosewood grips with square butt profile.  The Model #2 was popular sidearm during the American Civil War.  Many officers carried this weapon and some enlisted men.  General George Armstrong Custer is known to have owned a pair of these revolvers.  Serial numbers after 35731 were produced after May 1, 1865.
