American Civil War Confederate D-Guard Bowie

American Civil War Confederate D-Guard Bowie with carved bone handle.  This American Civil War Confederate D-Guard Bowie is completely untouched and awesome.  If your Civil War Relics Collection is missing an American Civil War Confederate D-Guard Bowie, call Ole Rebel.  This American Civil War Confederate D-Guard Bowie measures 17 1/4″ inches overall.  The blade measures just shy of 13″ inches.  This is a gorgeous Antique Bowie Knife.  Bone Handled Antique Bowie Knives are scarce.  A carved bone handle is something you never see period.  This is American Civil War Confederate D-Guard Bowie has a nice hefty blade and roughly  1 3/4″ inches wide.  The blade has a clip point and still period sharp.

This American Civil War Confederate D-Guard Bowie is ready for display.  I truly love the Folk Art Style carved handle.  It has classic Southern War Time eye appeal.  The quillion is sweeping and picture perfect.  I love the black horn ferrule on the pommel end.  The front end of the handle has a small brass ferrule.  Nicely peened with untouched patina from tip to pommel.  The bone has a deep aged patina and the carving is awesome.
