Boyle and Gamble Confederate Sword

Boyle and Gamble Confederate Sword with stunning Confederate patina.  This Boyle and Gamble Confederate Sword has it’s original leather scabbard.  I coined the “CONFEDERATE PATINA” phrase many years ago.  I have since seen it used by many collectors when they bring my items to market.  This Boyle and Gamble Confederate Sword has the picture perfect Confederate Patina.  The mixture of metals in Southern brass sure make for a gorgeous reddish patina.  Rebel Relics are like wine just get better with time.  This Boyle and Gamble Confederate Sword has original leather wire and wrap.  The blade is full length with no battle scars.  The blade still has visible floral pattern etching.  The brass mounts on the scabbard are original and also have that Confederate Brass patina.  This is one of the iconic Confederate Swords that all collectors recognize.  The Richmond Virginia area had many Confederate Arms suppliers but none more famous than the Boyle & Gamble Company.  This Boyle and Gamble Confederate Sword is solid with some expected wear to the scabbard.  The sword is solid and rare to have visible etching.  The etching on the Boyle and Gamble Confederate Sword was light from birth.   Many blades were cleaned through the years and the etching is lost.  This is a rare Confederate Sword in Rebel Strong condition.  This is one of the two most iconic and collectible Confederate swords.  The other being the Nashville Plow Works Sword which is my favorite.  This Boyle and Gamble Confederate Sword has more eye appeal than the plow but I was born in Nashville.

If your Civil War Relics Collection could use a Boyle and Gamble Confederate Sword.  This is one you can sleep well with at night above the fireplace.  Civil War Relics are awesome and this one is just perfect.  This Boyle and Gamble Confederate Sword has enough honest wear to have seen the fight.   That said, it is still in wonderful attic condition.  Worthy of the best collection and no apologies.  Civil War Relics like this are investments and will only increase in value.  Check out the Rebel Relics World Famous Civil War Relics Price.
