Antique American Frontier Trade Ax

Antique American Frontier Trade Ax with original haft.  This Antique American Frontier Trade Ax is solid and ready for adventure.  This Antique American Frontier Trade Ax was in a Civil War Relics Collection.  It was not an eclectic collection but no history attached.  It does make sense that Axes would have used and my guess carried in battle.  This Antique American Frontier Trade Ax is solid with a hammer style poll.  The overall length is little over 15″ inches.  The head measures around 4 3/4″ inches.  This is a solid Antique American Frontier Trade Ax and I love the lanyard hole in the haft.  The ax head has a wonderful aged patina.  Shows crude forging and feels good when held.  Notice the haft has a round end.  This design makes it secure and no slippage when struck.  The construction of this Antique American Frontier Trade Ax sure has an anti-personal feel.  I think you will enjoy this artifact and will look awesome in any collection.  I can see this with a Long Rifle, Shotgun, or even a Western Theater Military Display.

I am doing so many shows across the United States and acquiring many new collections.  Years ago I would get single genre collections.  A family would send me their Civil War Relics and it would be strictly Civil War Relics.  Here lately I am receiving huge Civil War Relics Collections and it also has many German, Japanese, and Native American Artifacts.  I have kept Rebel Relics for the most part strictly Civil War Relics but from time to time will be adding some other era military collectibles.  I hope you enjoy seeing the other era treasures.  I hope by offering the very best in Civil War Relics you will also trust and enjoy all my endeavors.  My passion will always be Civil War Relics with emphasis on Confederate Artifacts.  As always thank you very much and please know I appreciate all of you.
