Confederate Bowie with Tin Sheath

Confederate Bowie with Tin Sheath and Rebel Strong condition.  This Confederate Bowie with Tin Sheath has a beautiful GAR tag.  This Confederate Bowie was taken by a Yankee “collector” Soldier as a War Trophy.  Think about it, Rebel Relics were collectible even back then.  The tin sheath is very nice.  Fits the knife like a tin glove.  I love the tool style handle.  The handle has beautiful eye appeal.  The blade has original polish.  The Yankee might have kept this Confederate Bowie to brush his teeth using the blade as a mirror.  Check out the brass “S” guard.  Once again the patina is perfect.  The brass ferrule is also brass and deep strong patina.  The spear point blade is 7 1/2″ inches.  The blade has a nice thick median ridge.  If you play around carelessly with this Confederate Bowie you will need a tourniquet.  The blade will cut and for sure kill.  The overall length of this Confederate Bowie with Tin Sheath is 13″ inches.

If you Civil War Relics Collection could use Confederate Bowie with Tin Sheath let me know.  I love the old GAR Tag.  Civil War Relics are awesome.  Rebel Relics are really awesome.  This Confederate Bowie will display like a stud in any collection.  Feel free to holler at me if you need anything.  Still looking for consignment collections.
