Boyle, Gamble & MacFee Confederate Sword

This Boyle, Gamble & MacFee Confederate Sword with original leather grip.  This Boyle, Gamble & MacFee Confederate Sword has the classic B & G single strand brass wire.  I love the Boyle, Gamble & MacFee cast into the guard.  The pommel cap is undisturbed.  The pommel cap and guard have correct mating numbers.  The blade is full length with no battle scars.  I sold this Boyle, Gamble & MacFee Confederate Sword many years ago.  It surfaced with oral history of being a Yankee War Trophy.  The blade has a very thin GAR Style silver coating.  The coating is starting to wear thin.  This is a very scarce Confederate Sword.  I love the firm name cast into the guard.  No guess work where this Bad Boy was made.  If you collect Confederate Swords you will love this one.  The hilt has an awesome patina.  The handle is untouched with original brass wire.  The sword is tight with no blade wobble.  I can see this one hanging over the fireplace.  Another perfect Christmas gift for the History Buff.  Rebel Relics Yell for service.
